Kellie for 9 Crow Street

So for the past two weeks i have been doing an internship with the lovely people at 9 Crow Street, a little jem of a vintage shop located in temple bar, (where the old dingy comic shop once was).
I have had an amazing time there, getting to know the owners and really getting an insight to how a vintage clothing shop is run.
As a result of my time there, i have some exciting news! I set up a consession in the shop where i buy/make my own clothes and sell them in the shop.
I also got more experience with my new camera, which brings me on to the purpose of this post!
Here is a photoshoot that i photograpghed and styled using all stock from the shop, with the amazing Kellie Andrews!
If any of the clothes in the following photos tickle your fancy, please feel free to give thier facebook page a like or pop into the shop and see if its still on the rails! (they are also in the process of making a website to buy cerrtain stock, so if your not from Ireland, keep your eyes pealed for that!)
Anyway, i hope you enjoy the photos!
(all links for ths shops facebook page etc. are at the bottom of the post)

(◡‿◡✿)

hello followers, its nice to see you have been all continued following my blog, even though it is updated less frequently then it probably should be. but i have been busy, and I'm back in school (so you can blame that). anyway, i have some(not very exciting) updates on my life;
1. i no longer have a job :-(
2. i do now have an iphone which makes up for the fact i don't have a job, sorta.
3. i got signed by a modeling agency in dublin this week called Absolute Model Agency.

and that's sort of it really. i have some exciting things happening soon though, one of which includes me (possibly) starting up a youtube channel with two of my friends and signing covers of our favourite songs, and hopefully our own music in the future. i have wanted to do something like this for a while now, so i am excited. and will post every song here so don't worry :-)

Anyway, the next few pictures are from a photo shoot i did last week, it was a lot of fun and the photographer is very good and a lovely person, check her blog out HERE :-)

i want to sk8

so, after watching 'lords of dogtown' with my friends the other week, i have been sort of obsessed with the whole skating life style. i really want to find my old skate board from when i was like 12, and take it out again and teach myself how to skate. anyway, here are some photos that also inspired me to act/dress and just generally be like a skater. oh then i could say stuff like 'gnarly' and not seem like a total dick.

also, the last picture is of a chilled dolphin. it seemed like it fit in this post pretty well.

i'm here to inform you man.

OK, so I thought I would make a post just telling you guys what I've been up to lately, because most of my posts lately have been visual, with very little writing involved, which is great, but i have some pretty cool news so I'm going to take this chance to bring you up to speed with whats happening in my life right now.
So, I'm going to start with the most exciting news, I am no longer jobless! I got a job as a christmas sales associate in Urban Outfitters in temple bar. I was pretty happy with the news, especially because i honestly didn't think i got the job after the interview. but yeah, they must have liked me which is kinda cool....
So, my second piece of news is, starting on December the 6th, I am going to be in a show in the Project Arts Center with my theatre group, called 'six characters in search of an author'. If you live in Dublin and you like theatre you should come see it, its going to be fun and scary and whack and i think you might like it.
Oh, another amazing but completely unexpected thing happened to me the other week. So my friend invited me into town on a Saturday morning, because a photographer named David Mushegain had gotten in contact with her through facebook, and he was looking for young people to photograph. So, I went in, and when i was there i found out that he was quite famous, he has shot covers for Elle, Vogue and a lot of amazing super models, and he discovered Charlotte Free! It was insane, he was the nicest, most down to earth guy! So he took our photos and we walked around town with him. Afterwards, he decided to treat us all to fish and chips for dinner, and when we went to the restaurant he told us that Flea, The bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was coming to get dinner with us. David, the photographer was over in Dublin because he was The RHCP's official photographer, and they were playing a gig in Dublin. It was absolutely surreal, he was so friendly and nice, and everyone recognised him and was trying to get a photo with him. Then we walked Flea around town and Irish danced with him on the street, it was so much fun. And later on David was telling us how he is going to come over to Dublin again with Charlotte, so she can meet all of us. Can't wait. So yeah, that has to be the most exciting news so far.
Oh, and a bit of not so great news, I went to the launch for the new issue of Thread magazine, the one in which i was supposed to be in. And guess what, they cut me out of it. To be honest I don't really mind, things like that happen. But it was just very annoying that i wasn't informed, and had to find out by myself from looking through the issue at the launch, with my two friends peering over my shoulder, anxious to see the photo i told them would be in it. ugh.
Anyway, ce le vie. So, to wrap things up the past few weeks have been amazing. I have met so many nice new people and made some really genuine freinds. There must be some more things I've forgotten to tell you as well, I can just feel it. Well, when i remember i will make another post.
I will keep you updated guys. See you all soon! x
Oh. I forgot, last week i went to the launch Party for The Silver Factory's new t-shirt line in 9 Crow Street, it was a lot of fun and i got pissed off a lot of free champagne! Well, here are some photos from that and some other things, good night everyone! x
